Strip the chrome, own the look. From individual trim pieces to full blackout builds and tuxedo wraps — precision vinyl work that transforms how your vehicle carries itself.

What We Delete

  • Window Trim — the chrome surround running along the roofline and door frames; one of the most visible upgrades you can make
  • Grille Accents — chrome surround, slats, or mesh converted to gloss black, satin, or body-matched vinyl
  • Badging & Emblems — debadged and wrapped, or wrapped in place for a cleaner finish
  • Door Handles — chrome handles blacked out to match the overall theme
  • Mirror Caps — wrapped to match or contrast, often used in tuxedo builds
  • Rear Bumper Chrome — lower bumper bars and trim deleted for a seamless look

Packages

Partial Chrome Delete — one or a few pieces. Window trim only, just the badges, or handles and mirrors. Good entry point to test the look before going all in.

Full Blackout Package — every chrome accent on the vehicle converted. Window trim, grille, handles, mirrors, badges, and bumper chrome all deleted in matching gloss black or satin black vinyl.

Tuxedo Wrap — a two-tone build that goes beyond chrome delete. The lower body stays your factory color while the roof, pillars, and mirrors are wrapped in a contrasting finish. Typically gloss or satin black. Popular on Escalades, Yukon Denalis, and full-size SUVs.

What Finish Should You Choose?

Gloss Black is the most common — clean, aggressive, and pairs with almost every base color. Satin Black is slightly softer and more understated. Matte Black works on full blackout builds but shows water spots more easily. For two-tone builds, we work from the full KPMF, Orafol, and Avery Dennison vinyl catalogs to find the closest match or a deliberate contrast.

Popular Builds

Vehicles We Do This On

Cadillac Escalade & GMC Yukon

Window trim and grille chrome delete on these trucks is one of the most popular builds we do. The factory chrome is excessive — blacking it out transforms the entire vehicle.

BMW, Mercedes & Audi

European luxury vehicles often come loaded with chrome trim that works against the sport or stealth look most owners want. Full blackout builds are a natural fit.

Ford F-150 & GM Trucks

Half-ton trucks with chrome packages respond well to a full blackout. The larger surface area of window trim and grille makes the contrast dramatic.

Range Rover & Land Rover

Range Rover chrome accents are a common upgrade. Window surrounds, grille, and bumper pieces deleted for a cleaner, more aggressive look.

Tuxedo Wrap Builds

Full-size SUVs — Escalades, Suburbans, Yukons — are natural tuxedo wrap candidates. Factory color on the lower body, satin or gloss black on the roof, pillars, and mirrors.

Any Vehicle with Chrome

If it has chrome and you want it gone, we can handle it. Send us photos of your vehicle and we'll walk you through what the build would look like.

FAQ

Chrome Delete Questions Answered

A chrome delete covers or replaces the chrome trim on your vehicle using vinyl film. The trim is wrapped, not painted or chemically removed, so it can be reversed cleanly without damaging the original surface underneath.
No. We wrap over the existing chrome without grinding, sanding, or chemically altering it. The vinyl is fully removable, leaving the original trim intact underneath. It's one of the cleanest reversible modifications you can do to a vehicle.
A partial delete (a few pieces) usually takes one day. A full blackout package on a large SUV like an Escalade is typically 1 to 2 days. Tuxedo wrap builds take 2 to 3 days depending on scope.
Absolutely. Black is the most popular finish, but we can match virtually any color available in the KPMF, Orafol, or Avery Dennison vinyl lineups. Two-tone builds and custom accents are all options.
A tuxedo wrap is a two-tone build where the lower body keeps the factory paint color and the roof, pillars, and mirrors are wrapped in a contrasting finish — typically gloss or satin black. It's a transformation that doesn't require changing the entire vehicle color.
Partial deletes (window trim only, badges, handles) typically start under $400. A full blackout package on a large SUV runs more. We quote a flat price once we know the vehicle and scope — no surprises.
